I’ve been working within strength & conditioning for around a decade, coaching recreational through to senior international athletes across a range of sports.  I’ve supported two major universities and three national talent pathways.

Alongside this I work as a tutor and educator for British Weightlifting, as well as working as an assistant Lecturer at the University of Hull, specialising in Strength Coach-Athlete Relationships

How it works

Here’s a step by step explanation of what happens when you choose to sign up for my results guaranteed online strength and conditioning coaching

1) Info gathering

Great strength and conditioning programmes require high-quality information, so we’ll start by discussing your sport, goals, training history, workout frequency etc.  I’ll also ask you to send me a few exercise videos for technique assessment.

3) Train & Adapt

Each training session you’ll record key performance data such as weights, reps, times and distances, as well as fatigue.  I’ll then review all your data and adapt your programme for the following week to keep you performing at your maximum potential.

2) 1:1 Support

We’ll start each week with a check-in, where we set your focus goals for the week.  Throughout the week, you’ll have access to me through WhatsApp, where you can ask questions, as well as send exercise videos for feedback.  We then round the week off with a review check-in on the friday.

3) Train & Adapt

Each training session you’ll record key performance data such as weights, reps, times and distances, as well as fatigue.  I’ll then review all your data and adapt your programme for the following week to keep you performing at your maximum potential.

How will I communicate with my coach?

We’ll mainly communicate through WhatsApp, which we’ll also use to share videos.

What are your coaching Qualifications?

I have a Masters Degree in Strength & Conditioning, Level 1 and 2 British Weightlifting Certifications and Level 3 Sports Conditioning Certification. I am also currently pursuing a PhD in Strength Coach-Athlete Relationships.

Do you offer scholarships?

Is this coaching suitable for all levels of athlete?

Yes, absolutely.  I work with recreational through to senior international athletes.  The main things I look for are that you genuinely take your training seriously and are coachable.

Who have you worked with?

I have provided strength and conditioning support to Leeds Beckett and Leeds Universities, City of Leeds Swimming Club, Cultiv8 Tennis Academy and Leeds Rebound Gymnastics Club.  I have also worked with individual athletes from recreational through to senior international level, and acted as Head Coach of Yorkshire Barbell Club, as well as Outlift Powerlifting Club.

Do you also work with youth athletes?

Yes, I also work with youth athletes.  Coaching is delivered in collaboration with parents/carers, who must be present in all communication channels, as well as responsible for signing onboarding documents, making payments etc.
